The Roaring Twenties
1928-This was one of the most important years of the 1920s. During this year inventions and new technologies led the way to a new society. In 1928 the first commercial televisions were being produced. Blacks and women were beginning to play an important role in American culture. Amelia Earhart became the first women to fly across the world. Louis Armstrong recorded “West End Blues.” Warner Brothers became the first company to release a full talking movie.

were a time of change, and its change completely altered the decades to follow it. New standards were set and old standards were pushed. There is nothing boring about that where it affected every person directly, you either read about or heard about it and second hand knowledge of your surrounds in good enough to make a lasting impressions. It is for these reasons I believe the 20’s are best remembered as the roaring 20’s.
