Therefore, in conclusion, the gods’ complex emotions play a major role in Odysseus’ course of life. Odysseus’ helplessness gives the gods a chance to express their emotions on him in positive and negative ways. Overall there are many more gods who try to aid him than to hurt him. The gods that try to hurt him only helps him to build his determination and courage to get home.
