The Hobbit
The Hobbit
by J.R.R. Tolkein
This story takes place in what seems to be modern times. The story starts out in a land called The Shire, but the characters move to different places throughout the whole story.
This book made me wish that I lived during this time and that I lived where it takes place. I say this because I am an adventurous person, and I would get a real thrill out

have mentioned this a few times before, I think that a person could learn that people aren’t always what they seem at first. Bilbo wouldn’t think twice about an adventure, but he eventually loved the quests and dangers of his life. People could also learn that you never know what something is until you try it. Bilbo loved adventures after he tried one, and this was impossible to him before he set out.
