calling out for his mother to come and rescue him from this hell on earth that has
become his life. He is in such pain and agony one can only imagine. Another soldier

confirmed. The Treaty of Paris was written and signed on February 10, 1763. It gave
all of North America east of the Mississippi River (except New Orleans) to the British.
New Orleans and everything west of the Mississippi to Spain. It wasn’t until 1764 that
peace dominated in North America.
However, peace only lasted 10 years. The history of the continent would be forever
changed by the Revolution, ending this decade of peace.
