My only regret is that her role as a caregiver, mother, and provider was not given more attention; because of a lot these great women go without ever receiving a reward for their efforts. Marita Golden uses Ma’Adele to show the other side of African-Americas. She does a great job of illustrating what allows all the families to conquer all obstacles and succeed. It all starts at the foundation with the elders.
