All the frustration that gathers inside him comes out in anger, but I do not think that he is violent, but his feelings provoke his anger to emerge.
“Our fingers met”
This last sentence ties the story together and gives us a happy ending. He has reflected the episode and he has come to terms with himself and his feelings and moreover he has got his girlfriend back and he is ready to move on!
