war makes us uncertain of victory as a result of the Vietnam War. However, technology has increased rapidly over the decades. Now, America is definitely capable of attacking Iraq quickly and turning out a victory. Our government, as horrible as it may seem, values the lives of U.S. citizens’ more than unstable and temporary peace with Iraq. The UN believes in appeasement, but America does not; therefore, it must fight when it feels threatened.
