Middle East would raise oil prices tremendously. An increase in oil prices, oil being an essential necessity for the U.S., would disrupt the U.S. economy greatly. Briefly, by keeping Israel a friendly ally helps the U.S. in many ways. And this indirectly results on how Jews in the U.S. are treated, in my opinion.
