Ninjas being skilled in espionage and assassination and Samurai being skilled in honorable combat. Ninjas however used any weapon at their disposal while the samurai mainly stuck to the three typical sword types. They are vastly different in their forms of honor, ninjas having no honor code and samurai with an honor code where if breached they would kill themselves.
