Music Concert Report On Sunday November 10, 2002 at 4:00 PM I went to Queensborough Community College/CUNY located at 56th Avenue and Springfield Blvd., Bayside, NY and I saw Masterworks Series – Coffee Cantata presented by the Queens Symphony Orchestra featuring Maria Ferrante, Soprano; Eric Fennell, Tenor; Nmon Ford, Baritone. Furthermore a statement on Coffee: Coffee was a relatively new beverage for most Europeans and its stimulating effects caused concern among many citizens. Bach’s secular cantata is a humorous musical treatment of the cattle between father and his headstrong teenage daughter over her coffee habit.
