Macbeth Growth Motif

In Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth, the audience is able to see various motifs in the dialogue the characters. A motif is a main element that is to be elaborated on. One motif that plays a subtle, but effective component of the play is the “growth” motif. showed last 75 words of 655 total…illustrates the goodness of his character. He shows a great concern for the well being of his country through this. The imagery used by Shakespeare is used to support major themes in his play. In this case it seems to support the idea of good growing out of evil and evil growing out of good. These images help the reader understand the purpose of the characters and the meaning of the events in this tragedy.
