Armor Many different kinds of armor were made in medieval times. As time went on new on new discoveries and designs helped protect many knights. The making of new weapons increased the need for new armor. The most basic kind of armor was chain mail. If he were to be face down in mud, it’s likely that he would suffocate. If a knight were to leading an army and fell, it’s goodnight for him because it’s likely that he would be trampled.
