Many biographers and critics will say that the more you know about JD Salinger, the less you want to know, but I disagree. I think anyone who can write honestly about life and the trials of it deserves to be acknowledged and sought after. I only think that it’s too bad the press couldn’t respect his privacy enough to listen to what he might have to say.
