While there are certainly many economic challenges facing the Czech Republic, the future still appears to hold eventual prosperity. Czechs have learned from their mistakes in the early process of transformation, and continue down the path of recovery from the crisis of the late 1990s. The Czech economy has many assets to build upon, and hopefully the leadership will make wiser choices in the future that allow for a smoother road to transition.
