I think the era during which Ibsen wrote his dramatic literature was when most women’s right was questionable. Therefore that issue was not viewed to be a major theme in the play ‘A Doll House’. Woman those days were restricted in the house of a man; women just passed on from their father’s house to their husband’s housed and then onto her children‘s house.
